Fans Cram Hollywood & Highland for Jennifer Lopez Album Launch

The singer entertains a crowd of thousands and signs copies of her latest release Tuesday.

Jennifer Lopez was recently named the most beautiful woman in the world by People magazine, but that’s not all she has going for her. The multi-talented actress, pop star and American Idol judge released a new album called Love? on Tuesday.

To celebrate the CD release in a big way, Hard Rock Cafe put on a fan-centric CD signing event at Hollywood & Highland.

Many loyal fans took the day off of work, flew in from out of state and stood in line for hours for a chance to meet their idol and walk away with her autograph.

Leading up to Lopez's appearance, Love? was played on repeat for hours leading up to the signing. Pictures of Lopez flashed across a giant screen on the stage in the center of the courtyard as fans began packing in.

The media began to arrive around 5 p.m. and a purple carpet was rolled out. Excitement continued to build as Lopez fans filled every inch of the entertainment complex including the portion of the upper levels facing the stage.

Around 9 p.m. fans began to chant “J. Lo” and countless camera flashes went off. Lopez walked the purple carpet and then jumped on stage, thanking her fans for their support. The ceremony included a dedication to the Hard Rock Cafe in honor of its 40th anniversary. She donated her wardrobe from the cover of her No. 1 hit song, "On The Floor," to the  restaurant. Confetti fell from the sky as the outfit was revealed.

Patch caught up with several fans who turned out for the release party. Here are what some of Lopez's biggest followers had to say:
