TST Stories @ Stella - Staged Reading of "Sister Cities"

Towne Street Theatre, LA's Premiere African American Theatre Company, begins its 2012 Staged Reading Series on World Theatre Day.  TST Stories at Stella will present "Sister Cities" by Colette Freedman on Tuesday, March 27th at 8:00 PM at the Stella Adler Theatre, 6773 Hollywood Boulevard, (corner of Hollywood & Highland), in Los Angeles, CA 90028.  Ms. Freedman is an internationally produced playwright, screenwriter, and novelist.  She was recently named one of the Dramatists Guild "50 to Watch."   "Sister Cities" gives us four sisters, from four different cities and different corners of the country, with vastly different perspectives on life.  All reunite, due their mother's illness, with the results being a comedic, edgy and ultimately heartfelt affirmation of family.  Towne Street Theatre Artistic Director, Nancy Cheryll Davis, will direct the ensemble - Barika A. Croom, Christine Marie Quigless, Raquel Rosser, Nina Womack, and Nancy Renee.  This production also celebrates WomenArts as a Swan Day participant.   The suggested donation for "Sister Cities" is $5.00.  For reservations, please  RSVP to info@townestreet.org and for additional information about TST, visit www.townestreet.org.  This production is produced by Towne Street Theatre in association with Stella Adler - LA.
