The Respectables

The Respectables most certainly know the ropes when it comes to Rock 'N' Roll! Each show is a guaranteed party where the audience can get a taste of a great musical experience worthy to be named amongst the greats in Rock 'N' Roll. They were chosen by The Rolling Stones themselves to be the opening act for the Licks World Tour during their stop at The Bell Center in Montreal, the Respectables’ hometown.

The meanest guitar player in Canada – BB Burnett /  Hour – Steve Hill got an early start as a professional guitar player at the age of 16.  By the time he was 20 he was already doing more than 200 gigs a year, which lead to the success of his first album in 1997.  The album was voted Best Canadian Debut Recording by Vancouver’s Real Blues magazine. Following a tour that took him across Canada, France and Belgium, he returned to the studio in 1999 to record ‘’Call It What You Will’’.  On his second tour across Canada and Europe he shared the stage with Ray Charles, B.B. King, Jimmie Vaughan, Buddy Guy, Johnny Lang and many more.  He won Electric act of the year at Toronto’s Maple Blues Awards and was nominated for a Juno award.

Tailor Made Fable

In the spring of 2004, the launch of Montreal-based rock band Tailor Made Fable was undertaken by Rémi Chassé (lead vocal, guitar / keyboard) and Mike Normand (guitar / vocal), P-E Beaudoin (drums / vocal) and Matt Boulanger (bass / vocal). In less than three years, TMF released two EP’s and one LP. Excited crowds have packed venues throughout Canada to see their mind-blowing shows since. In April of 2009, once again, the guys distinguished themselves when their song A Case Of Mistaken Identity was awarded in the Rock category at the prestigious International Songwriting Competition in Nashville.

Dance Laury Dance

Dance Laury Dance was born in 2007 from the combined talents of Lap (drums), Max Lemire (vocals), Blake (guitar), Harry Sebastian (bass) and Dagger Pat (guitar). Right from their very first jams, they had a clear objective: to follow the tradition of rock n' roll in its purest form while developing a unique and distinctive sound.

Part of the Quebec in Hollywood Festival

Très chic Hollywood is set to become even more so this September when Québec In Hollywood kicks off a three week celebration of Québec's unique brand of creativity and flair. Prepare to be dazzled by the sights and sounds, artistry and flavors, of North America's own thriving slice of French-speaking culture. Slated events include a Québec film festival at the Egyptian Theatre, performances by top bands and comedy acts, a Montréal fashion runway show at Hollywood & Highland Center, special restaurant tastings with renowned Québecois chefs, a green transportation design symposium, gallery exhibitions and more. The festivities will culminate with the premiere of IRIS, a new resident show helmed by Québec's very own Cirque du Soleil and set to run through 2021 at the legendary Kodak Theatre.
