John Lennon Birthday Potluck Breakfast with the Beatles

John Lennon and Beatles fans are invited to a potluck public "John Lennon Birthday Breakfast With the Beatles" on Sunday, Oct. 9 to celebrate the 71st birthday of the late legendary singer, songwriter and former Beatle.

The event will take place starting 8 a.m. at Lennon's Hollywood Walk of Fame Star located at 1750 North Vine Street in front of the Capitol Records Tower Building.

Fans will come together at the star and share the potluck birthday breakfast while listening to a special John Lennon birthday broadcast of the longest running Beatles radio program "Breakfast With the Beatles" airing that morning from 8 a.m. - 11 a.m. on KLOS-FM and hosted by popular radio personality Chris Carter.

Following the radio broadcast and breakfast, fans are invited to perform Lennon and Beatles songs around the star. Mr. Carter will join the gathering at noon to lead the special cake cutting ceremony.

Fans are invited to bring flowers to place around John's star. They are also invited to bring folding chairs and picnic blankets as well as a potluck dish to share.
