Film Festival for Nonprofits with Public Interest Pictures

Public Interest Pictures is offering a unique opportunity for Los Angeles cause-driven nonprofits to tell their stories. 8 nonprofits will be paired with 8 filmmakers who will be tasked to write, produce, shoot, and edit a short film in just 48 hours.

The finished videos will offer compelling narratives that touch and inspire. This is not a PSA contest or traditional corporate video. Filmmakers will work with nonprofits to develop script ideas and determine which genre best suits their campaign or program. Then, over the course of a weekend, the filmmakers will go out and create a 3-5 minute film. We’ll screen the final product Sunday night with a live audience – prizes will go to the top videos.
