John Lennon and Beatles fans are invited to commemorate the rock legend's birthday during a celebration to be held at his Walk of Fame star Tuesday.
'Breakfast With the Beatles' radio host Chris Carter will lead a cake-cutting ceremony in front of the Capitol Records building at 1750 N. Vine Street.
Fans are encouraged to bring candles and flowers to place on the star and share Lennon remembrances from 6-8 p.m.
Lennon was born on Oct. 9, 1940. He would have been 72.
