Bill Clinton's Weekend of Hollywood Parties

The former U.S. president celebrates a belated birthday and holds a fundraiser in support of his foundation.

Lady Gaga, Stevie Wonder, Usher and U2's Bono and the Edge were among an A-list of performers who helped former U.S. President Bill Clinton celebrate a belated birthday and raise money for the William J. Clinton Foundation, reported The Hollywood Reporter.

Guests hit the Hollywood Palladium Friday night for a gala dinner and the Hollywood Bowl Saturday to watch a star-studded lineup perform. Politico's slideshow captures actress Sofia Vergara, singer Stevie Nicks and actor Chevy Chase among the attendees at the weekend's festivities.

The Los Angeles Times music blog "Pop & Hiss" said Clinton's concert at the Hollywood Bowl "felt a bit like a pop music Davos—a reminder that the big players of geopolitics still look to musicians for a certain vitality and influence."
