The Daily News takes an inside look at the first-ever Aliens to Zombies Convention, which drew a crowd Saturday to the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.
The event, a mix of discussion panels, screenings and parties, celebrated the art of creating movie monsters.
In attendance were some fans of the paranormal, mixed in with Hollywood industry insiders.
The article reports, "Some panels—taken seriously by some of their participants—included a discussion of a post-apocalyptic world inhabited by zombies called 'Beginning of the End,' and another called 'Aliens Among Us.' "
Organizers are hoping to make the event a regular occurrence during the Halloween season.
