Star Ceremony Set for Penelope Cruz

Cheapest gas prices: According to LosAngelesGasPrices.com, the cheapest gallon of regular gas is $3.99 at the Arco gas station at 6100 Franklin Ave. and Gower Avenue. The second lowest price is $4.03 at the Shell gas station at 5657 Sunset Blvd. and North Wilton Place.

Road closure: Relief is in sight for the heavy backup on La Brea and Franklin avenues and Sunset Boulevard as traffic along Hollywood Boulevard has been pushed to parallel streets in recent days. It's the final day of production for Wonder Woman, according to NavigateHollywood.com. All lanes of Hollywood Boulevard between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue  will be closed late this afternoon. Westbound lanes will close at 4 p.m. followed by eastbound lanes at 7 p.m.  Additionally, the curb lanes will be closed throughout the day beginning at 7 a.m.

Star ceremony: Actress Penelope Cruz is set to receive the 2,436 star on the Walk of Fame at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. Pirates of the Caribbean director Rob Marshall will be the guest speaker at the ceremony. Her star is located at 6834 Hollywood Blvd. in front of the El Capitan Theatre. On Wednesday afternoon Hollywood Patch spotted the star being set into the sidewalk with a layer of a clay-like substance on its surface.
