Looks like the Endeavour space shuttle will have its "Hollywood moment" before it retires from flight on Friday.
Endeavour is scheduled to fly over over key points of interest including Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood Hills, according to a news advisory from the Los Angeles Police Department.
The shuttle will be attached to a NASA Boeing 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft as it conducts low-flying manuevers.
Before you look to the sky for a glimpse, authorities are warning Angelenos to make sure you're in a safe position.
Authorities advise drivers and pedestrians to remain focused while driving. Don't take photos from your vehicle, don't stop on the road. Police are concerned it will cause traffic congestion and accidents.
The best option is to find a safe place to park or make viewing arrangements in advance.
The shuttle is expected to land at LAX before 11 a.m. Friday, according to a NASA news release. Officials haven't shared timing details about the route, but when more information becomes available Patch will update this story.
