Relaxed Parking Restrictions for Yom Kippur in Hollywood

The Los Angeles City Department of Transportation will relax parking measures over the Yom Kippur holiday starting at 2 p.m. on Friday. The measures will remain in place until midnight Saturday.

Friday night to Saturday night is , the holiest day of the Jewish year. Many Jewish residents throughout the city will walk to synagogue services Friday night and Saturday, but plenty of others will drive.

To help ease parking and traffic congestion, the Los Angeles City Department of Transportation is implementing relaxed parking regulations throughout the Westside, Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley during this period.

This means that there will be relaxed enforcement of street cleaning, time limits and preferential parking areas. But please note that meters, tow-away zones and other safety violations will still be enforced.
