Magic Awards, Woman's Club Lawsuit and Farmers Market Extension

Cheapest gas prices: The cheapest gallon of regular gas is $4.05 at the Arco gas station at 6100 Franklin Ave. and Gower Avenue, according to LosAngelesGasPrices.com. The second lowest price is $4.11 at the Shell gas station at 5657 Sunset Blvd. and N. Wilton Place.

Woman’s Club: A legal battle and internal squabbles among members of Hollywood Woman’s Club was featured in the New York Times on Wednesday. Membership is low and it seems that some members are hoping to turn the property into condominiums, reports The Times.

Farmers Market: The Hollywood Farmers Market will stay open as negotiations continue to work out parking access with the Los Angeles Film School, reports the Los Angeles Times. The school is seeking to gain access to a parking garage, which is blocked during market hours.

Magic awards: The Magic Castle is holding its 43rd Annual Academy of Magical Arts Show  at Avalon on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The event is a rare opportunity for the public to experience the mystery of Magic Castle.
