Hollywood Walgreens Brings Glamor to Convenience

Sometimes you walk into a Walgreens or CVS (or the like) and it’s a little bit grungy and makes you feel a little uncomfortable but you go in anyways because you need whatever it is you’ve gone to get like gum or your prescription and you leave as quickly as you got there because your errand is over and there’s no point in staying longer than you need to. 

That was not my experience in the Walgreens on the corner of Sunset and Vine.

This has to be the most fantastic Walgreens I’ve ever been in. It was proposed in 2012 as a “high end concept store” and definitely exceeded my expectations. It not only had prepackaged food you wouldn’t be afraid to eat but two areas where chefs were preparing food for made-to-order consumption. There was also a beauty counter with people there specifically to help you pick out whatever beauty product you were looking for and a beauty salon.
