David Carradine Exhibit Set to Open on Friday

The Hollywood Museum to honor "The Barefoot Legend."

David Carradine, who was known as "The Barefoot Legend," is being celebrated at a new exhibit at the Hollywood Museum.

The "Barefoot Legend: David Carradine, a Contemporary Renaissance Man,"
exhibit is scheduled to open on Friday, June 21.

Carradine, who starred in a host of movies, including as Bill in the movie, Kill Bill, was also known for his role in the 1970's television series "Kung Fu" and appeared on the television show, "Alias," among other shows.

Donelle Dadigan, President and Founder of the Hollywood Museum, said it is a “milestone exhibit” that is “the first of its kind to capture the many facets and talents of this truly contemporary Renaissance man."

The exhibit will feature artifacts, including Carradine's personal sword collection, as well as signature costumes from the "Kung Fu" series and some of Carradine's personal clothing and accessories. His work as an artist and a musician will also be celebrated as part of the exhibit.

Carradine, who was the son of actor John Carradine, died four years ago.

The exhibit will be at the Hollywood Museum which is located in the Max Factor Building at 1660 N. Highland Ave. in Hollywood.

It is scheduled to run through September.
