The 34rd Annual Southern California Spring Garden Show takes place April 25-28 at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. The four-day show on three levels of the west wing of South Coast Plaza centers around a dramatic 25-foot-high floral creation with whimsical depictions of sea life on a coral reef, all made with flowers, seeds, and other natural materials.
Eight stylish and sustainable outdoor living vignettes are waiting to be discovered on level one of the Crate &amp; Barrel/Macy’s Home Store wing. Created by Southern California’s top design experts collaborating with South Coast Plaza home stores, the water-wise designs offer inspiration for gardens and outdoor spaces.
Levels two and three of the show will feature 35 specialty vendors with unique and collectible plants for sale at pop-up booths and boutiques, as well as nonprofits and horticultural organizations offering advice, insights and information.
Just across the Bridge of Gardens in South Coast Plaza's luxurious Jewel Court wing, Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE features elaborately decorated mannequins and spectacular installations&nbsp;created by local floral artists. Surrounded by boutiques from the world’s most exclusive brands, Fleurs de Villes celebrates the women&nbsp;artists, from contemporary visionaries and trailblazers, to world masters from throughout history.

Celebrate Mother’s Day Saturday sipping cocktails and dancing the night away at the Historic Woman's Club of Hollywood Ballroom. A welcome drink is included with each ticket.
The Big Band Alumni 19 Piece orchestra features Bill A Jones and Nancy Osborne, and Guest Vocalists Franny McCartney and Windy Barnes Farrell will dazzle with their talent. 
This Gala, supports the restoration of The Women’s Club of Hollywood’s National Historic Landmark property at 1749 N. La Brea Avenue. 
Guest vocalist Windy Barnes Farrell has been featured extensively on world-wide tours with such legendary artists as Julio Iglesias, Stevie Wonder, and Michael Bolton; and Franny McCartney was one of Bette Midler’s revered &amp; adored “Harlettes.” 
Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, The Big Band Alumni is considered THE premier Big Band in Southern California, having played The Academy Awards Governors Ball, The Reagan Library, and opened for Tony Bennett. Members have performed with pop icons like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Ray Charles, Rod Stewart, and even Lady Gaga. Band leader &amp; singer Bill A Jones was in the cast of Glee, and female vocalist Nancy Osborne is herself Grammy nominated. 
The Hollywood Club at the historic Woman's Club of Hollywood has served the Community since 1905 when members built Hollywood's first public library, and their outdoor music recitals morphed into the Hollywood Bowl.

Big Band Alumni in Gala Concert / Dance at Historic Hollywood Woman's Club

Detroit native Mike Young is a writer/director with four feature films under his belt and multiple TV projects both sold and in development. His streetwise sensibilities and observations make Young an original voice in both the comedy and drama space. Young got his start in stand up comedy. Appearing on Netflix, Showtime, Late Night with Craig Ferguson, AXTV’s Live At Gotham and The Carson Daly Show Mike opened for Joe Rogan, Bob Saget and currently for Sebastian Maniscalco on his arena tour.

About Mike Young:
Young’s feature debut My Man Is A Loser starring Michael Rapaport, John Stamos and Tika Sumpter was picked up by Lionsgate and crossed over a million streaming downloads. His sophomore effort, the gangster comedy, A Stand Up Guy starring Danny A Abeckaser, Bob Saget, Michael Rapaport, Ethan Suplee and Jay Ferguson was bought by Netflix. Young also wrote and Executive Produced Grounded starring Aaron Paul and Jeff Daniels released in 2021, and the film Adam which was produced by Gary Gilbert (La La Land/Garden State.) Mike is currently in post production on his latest feature Stealing Jokes, an action comedy starring Michael Rapaport, Jeff Dye and Carlos (HaHa) Davis, among many other talented comics. 
After the release of “Work In Progress” his first comedy album Mike teamed up with actor/producer Tobey Maguire to develop a sitcom based on Mike’s upbringing in Detroit. They sold the show to ABC where Mike wrote with Chris Kelly. Maguire and Young would team up once more for a half hour scripted comedy entitled The Light for HBO with producer writer Chris Di’arenzo. HBO would prove to be a fan of Mike’s writing and stand up and bought a half hour comedy from Young and producer Scott Stuber entitled Single Mike. Recently Young penned Third City, a one-hour drama set in the Detroit underworld with Eminem as Executive Producer that’s in development. On the table is also The Jam Master Jay Story, the life and times of Jam Master Jay, DJ for the supergroup RUN DMC.
