Grauman's Chinese Theatre Announces Next 25-Cent Movie

Organizers have picked to an epic film to show as part of the historic theatre's ongoing anniversary celebration.

Drum roll, please!

Grauman's Chinese Theatre has announced it's second 25-cent movie screening in honor of their 85th anniversary.

The epic film, Spartacus, starring Kirk Douglas is scheduled to play on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

Tickets are only 25-cents each, a throwback to the price of the ticket 85 years ago. (There is a $1 service charge for each ticket bought online. Last time we checked, tickets were still available.)

Preceeding the screening Kirk Douglas will attend a rededication ceremony of his hands and footprints in the forecourt of the theatre at 6:15 p.m., according to the Chinese Theatres Facebook page. The ceremony will also serve as a celebration of the release of his book, I Am Spartacus, Making a Film, Breaking the Blacklist. Signed copies will be available.
