Snag Parking for Hollywood Christmas Parade at These Spots
Sunday's parade is expected to draw thousands to Hollywood—plan ahead to get parking spots before they're gone.
With thousands of participants expected, Sunday's Hollywood Christmas Parade is sure to snarl traffic and pack parking lots.
Reminding parade goers that parking in Hollywood is "always a premium," parade officials suggest two options for parking. The best places to park, according to the parade website, are at Grant Parking lots throughout Hollywood and the Hollywood & Highland shopping complex. Here are some Grant Parking lot locations, according to Navigate Hollywood (click on each location for prices):

- 1526 Cassil Place
- 1540 North Vine St.
- 1600 North Schrader Ave.
- 1605 North Vine St.
- 1666 Highland Ave.
- 1715 North Cherokee Ave.
- 1721 North Argyle Ave.
- 6215 Sunset Blvd.
Metro stops on Hollywood Boulevard at Highland and Vine will also bring participants close to the parade route.
Sunday's parade will begin at 6:30 p.m., with a pre-parade show scheduled for 5:30 p.m. The parade will start at Hollywood Boulevard and Orange, in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

More than 5,000 people will participate in this year's parade, according to its Facebook page.
Emmy and Tony award-winning actor Joe Mantegna will serve as Grand Marshal of this year's parade, which will air at 6 p.m. Dec. 10 on the Hallmark Channel and 6 p.m. Dec. 21 on the Hallmark Movie Channel.
