Apple is a spayed female Chihuahua. She is tan and white with a smooth coat. She is approximately 6 years old and 9 pounds.
Paris is an unaltered female Chihuahua. She is white with a smooth coat. She is around 2 years and 1 month old and 16 pounds.
Beau is a neutered male Terrier mix. He has a tan and cream coat. He is about 11 months old and 18 pounds.
Luke is an unaltered male white Bichon Frise. He is about 2 years and 1 month old and 21 pounds.
Mr. Deville is an unaltered black and white Papillion and Chihuahua male. He is about 1 year and 1 month old and 10 pounds.

The North Central Division serves Hollywood residents seeking to adopt and picks up lost pets in the area.

The pets included in our photo gallery are just a sample of the many that are available in their online adopt-a-pet database.

The maximum cost for a resident to adopt a dog is $122. The maximum for a cat is $76.  The fee includes vaccinations, spaying/neutering, microchipping and, for dogs, the first year license fee.

The shelter is at 3201 Lacy Street in Los Angeles.

Hours of operation: Tuesdays through Saturdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
