Hollywood Today: Councilman Eric Garcetti to Deliver State of Hollywood

Los Angeles Councilman Eric Garcetti is scheduled to deliver the 19th annual State of Hollywood address Thursday afternoon. Each year the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce hosts the event for its members, which is preceded by a luncheon.   • Michael Jackson's three children will imprint their famous father's shoes and sequined glove into the cement outside Grauman's Chinese Theatre Thursday. The kids — Prince, Paris and Blanket — are expected to participate in the tribute to the late singer along with their family members. The event will include a live performance by the cast of Cirque du Soleil, Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour. A live stream will be available on the Chinese Theatres' website starting at 11 a.m. Celebrities including Justin Bieber, Tito, Marlon and Jackie Jackson, Smokey Robinson, Chris Tucker, Quincy Jones and more are expected to attend.
  • The Los Angeles Police Department's Hollywood Division is hosting a blood drive 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Blood drive participants will receive a Battle of the Badges t-shirt, a coupon for a free appetizer at Mimi's Cafe and a voucher for two tickets to a Los Angeles Clippers game.   • Comedian Tim Allen is scheduled to perform at the Laugh Factory with Bill Dawes and Erik Griffin. The show begins at 8 p.m. Pre-sale general admission tickets are $15 with a two drink minimum.
