Another waste of Taxpayer Dollars so that Politicans, Disney child stars and local Scientology cult members can show themsleves off. Who in the City audits this expense? Where does the money go to from the TV syndication rights? What does this cost in Taxpayer Dollars? This outdated expensive waste of time and money should have died years ago, instead we get to pay extra for traffic gridlock.

Resident 90068, you did not post any actual facts, or supporting links, that substantiate your claim that the cost of the Christmas parade is paid for by taxpayer dollars. You did not identify where this item is located in the City budget, the amount budgeted, or dollar amount of cost to the taxpayers. With no supporting information whatsoever, your post is only hyperboly and innuendo, and seems you have an axe to grind. Had you done some research before posting, for example looking at the parade website, you would have found that the parade is paid for by sponsorships, ticket sales and broadcasting on the Hallmark channel. It would be helpful if you would post some actual facts and supporting links when you make these type of accusations in the future. Thanks.
