Hiker Rescued in the Hollywood Hills
The hiker was found by firefighters following a 35-minute search on the ground and in the air, authorities report.
Firefighters rescued a hiker in the Hollywood Hills Monday evening, authorities report.
A call from the 1800 block of N. Bronson Avenue was made at 5:40 p.m. said Matt Spence, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A search ensued on the ground and in the air.
The lost hiker was found around 6:15 p.m. and was taken to the hospital for evaluation, Spence said. He did not know the hiker's condition.

Isn't the fire station in the 1800 block of Bronson? And that's south of Franklin. Very strange -- well, incomplete -- story.

Was this a grown up? I have hiked every inch of these hills and cannot imagine getting lost around here. Keep going down and you'll get to a street. How much did it cost to send in the troops?
