Dine and Dance at Lexington Social House

The restaurant, offering farm fresh fare, aims to give patrons the best of Hollywood all in one hot spot.

When brother-sister duo Jeremy and Junella Chin, a New York real estate developer and doctor, came to Los Angeles, they felt something was missing from Los Angeles' nightlife scene.

They were searching for a spot to dine and dance without leaving a venue.

Their solution is Lexington Social House, a new restaurant at the iconic intersection of Hollywood and Vine.

Described as a social house, the restaurant offers rustic modern American cuisine with a global influence.

Executive Chef Mette Williams said the menu is inspired by the seasons with the freshest ingredients incorporated into each dish.

“The ingredients are all California-based,” Williams said. “The less traveling the food does, the fresher it is. So it benefits local farms as well as us.”

Highlights on the menu include fried chicken, mussels, and tomato and buratta salad. On the dessert menu is sweet monkey bread, described as a deconstructed cinnamon roll and French bread with cinnamon, pecans and banana ice cream.

Two nights a week, the venue hosts DJs so patrons can dance the night away. Sunday nights, Lexington offers a Sunday supper with a prix fixe menu, half-off on bottled wines and old movies to watch during the meal.

“In New York City, Paris, Miami and Vegas, its prevalent to mix the dining and nightlife experience,” said Tanjee Mahdavi, Lexington’s General Manager. “Our focus is on the food and producing a wonderful restaurant. Then we allow people stay for the nightlife thus coming full circle.”
