Canyon Road Improvement Project Wraps Up

Access to Bronson Canyon Park park is open to cyclists and pedestrians.

Canyon Road beyond the entrance of Bronson Canyon Park is much smoother now thanks to a road improvement project that had limited access to the park for two months.

Access to the park opened to cyclists and pedestrians over the weekend.

During the two-month project crews repaired potholes, resurfaced the street, installed new catch basins and repainted the curbs.

As the concrete cures and seals, access to the park is only open to pedestrians and cyclists. Vehicles will be allowed starting Oct. 20.

The project is funded by Proposition K.
