On Sundays starting this week, the Cahuenga Corridor Street Market will feature a mix of vendors catering to men and women.

Jewelry, clothes, makeup, vintage handbags and accessories will be among items you'll find for sale in the market located between Cahuenga Bouelvard and Cosmo Street. Its main entrance is on Selma Avenue next to Saint Felix Hollywood.

Piggybacked on the Hollywood Farmers Market, the Sunday street market will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Organizers hope the initial time frame will give them an idea of what will work best in the future. They may tweak hours based on how the market is received.

Expect live music as well as four DJs spinning "mellow, fun, gypsy jazz" on Sunday.

Market Director, Eddie Donaldson, plans to curate different acts each week. He's working on an 80's-music themed day. A stage will be set up behind Ecco.

Donaldson also mentioned he is working with local businesses to coordinate Sunday specials and promotions to encourage shoppers to visit local restaurants. (We'll update this article if we hear of specifics.)
