The restaurant raises a beer to happy times ahead on Sunday.

Blue Palms Brewhouse celebrated its grand re-opening Sunday to a packed house.

“After the closing, it’s nice to have our fans come back and support us,” said owner Brian Lenzo.

Fans mingled, watched games on mounted televisions and indulged in the food and craft beer, which Lenzo said the restaurant helped introduce to Los Angeles. Lenzo said 200 tickets were sold for Sunday's event.

“It’s like you were missing some of your family,” Lenzo said. “So it’s nice to kind of share and have a beer with them.”

Both old and new fans alike seemed happy to take part in the festivities, including Adrian Ordonez who lives in Echo Park and ventured in for the first time.

“It’s awesome,” Ordonez said. “The food’s great. Their beer selection is amazing. You don’t see this at any bar in Hollywood.”

Lenzo said he hopes all of the restaurant’s patrons realize how much they are appreciated.

“We have passion,” he said. “We care about our food. We care about our fans.”

Blue Palms Brewhouse is open from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily. Lunch is served at noon on Fridays and Sundays.
