Aveda Store at Hollywood & Highland Closes

The reason for the closure wasn't immediately clear.

The Aveda Store at the Hollywood & Highland Center shut its doors for the final time Friday.

Hollywood Patch was told the store would officially close Friday during a recent visit. It is the only Aveda Store in Hollywood. It wasn't clear what prompted the closure. No one would speak to it immediately.

There are hair salons in Hollywood that carry Aveda products, but the closest one is nearly three miles from the current Hollywood & Highland location, according to store manager Rachel Coffey.

It was not immediately known what store will take over the second-floor location. Hollywood Patch checked with Hollywood & Highland's administrative office.  An answer was not available.

The store had a closing event last Sunday to say farewell to customers who stopped by.

Aveda employees at Hollywood & Highland will be given the option to transfer to Aveda locations in Los Angeles, including possibly at Glendale Galleria or the Beverly Center, Coffey said.

You can lead a store owner to Hollwyood-Highland, but you can't make him signa lease. Another business scammed by the CRA. Corruption and Incompetence with plenty of Hubris made Hollywood-Highland a finanical disaster. Same with W Hotel, same with Metro Bld. In fact the same with Hollywood itself. CRA and Garcetti managed to increase the populatione xodus by more than 400% and then they lied about the plummeting population to justify more and more development. The LLC's and LLP's are going BK.

So now Tony V and Eric G are pulling a "Kodak" on the Chinese, deceivig them into investing in doo doo.
